For my giveaway I have whipped up a knitting roll for knitting on the go plus some quilting fabrics and buttons. I also like to pop in some surprise goodies before I post it off :)
This knitting roll is inspired by my Mother who actually does all the knitting in our family and has provided us with some lovely warm hand knits over the years. I haven't made her one of these rolls yet but a while ago she asked for a knitting roll to put her knitting in for travelling so this is what I've come up with. It has room for 10 pairs of needles and then a generous size pocket on the left side for your current knitting project. I can knit myself but just don't have the time to fit it in at the moment.
For the supplies part of my giveaway I have 4 pieces of quilters cotton and a handful of buttons just because I love buttons. The fabrics are all fat quarters except one that is cut across the fabric width.
This is the outside of the knitting roll It is padded with batting and quilted with straight line quilting.

Hi, I have just starting quilting and I am loving it, but I have always been a knitter. My grandmother taught me how to knit and crochet when I was little and I still enjoy both :)
Right now I'm all about covering ugly things with pretty scrapbook papers. I'm not interested in scrapbooking at all but I see the papers as sort of no-fray-fabric. This is a real moneysaver thing for me to do as FQ's are not available in Finland so I always have to buy yardage...Woohoo on being thrifty!

My current passion is hand embroidered embelishments on hand made gifts.
It seems I always have multiple projects going at one time. Currently I have a knitting project half way finished, I'm in the middle of several big beading projects since my daughters wanted to make things and we got a little carried away with the fun of it all. I finished up a plastic canvas/yarn project last night, I finished embroidering a baby quilt for the baby we are expecting and hope to quilt it soon, I have a pile of dresses cut ready to sew for my daughters. I was looking at my candle and soap supplies this morning and thinking I really want to make more. I'm working on making another scrapbook. As you may have guessed by now I love anything and everything craft related!

As knitting is my long time favorite (with crochet a close second) that knitting roll has me all a twitter! Love the fabric, and what a better way of organizing than the big jumble of needles I have now! It reminds me of something similar that my mum made for me when I was little for my crayons. I left it outside once in the Summer and they melted...I can still see the fabric and smell the melted crayons...thanks for the unexpected trip down memory lane! :)
