Your banner is really striking. Today as I've been perusing all of the blogs giving stuff away, I've seen a LOT of websites. But, with yours, I stopped and said "WOW!" This is great because it brings a lot of people in.

The great colors in your photos also help out a lot!

Looks like the new site is going to be fun!! I've been quilting for 3 years, and would really like to get into designing clothes. However, I've had difficulties with some of the finishing techniques of the items I've tried to sew. Maybe this new site will help.

Definitely count me in for the drawing of those love batiks!

Well my favorite thing I've seen so far is the quilt you made for your daughter. It is amazing!

I love the color combinations of projects on your blog-I'm going to be adding you on my bookmark bar. I always like good ideas!! I also noticed some of your fav bloggers are mine as well.

Love the fabric and pin cushion-I still haven't made one yet-I'm using a stinky tomato! I am working on a zig zag quilt right now. I tend to check my five or six fav quilting blogs daily for inspiration...need to start my own soon--really liking yours!

I like that your blog isn't too cluttered.

I really like the pic of the banner on top, but I think it's too wide. Maybe you could make it a bit narrower, so that at first sight you can see a little bit of the first post?

Thanks for the opportunity with this second giveaway... off I am to leave a comment also for the first one!! :-D

Oh, and I don't want to forget that I really like sewing little projects, but that I've been awefully busy with patchwork classes, making my first ever quilt, a sampler quilt. You can see lots of pics of it here: http://molacoser.blogspot.com/search/label/patchwork

It is now 12:15 in the morning, and I need to rest, so I will be back. I've got a few WIPs, two quilt tops that need to be sandwiched and quilted, plus another that I need to cut out; these are three quilts for three good friends!

Your giveaway is the bomb! But browsing through your blog was such a treat. You work is beautiful and I was so taken by Caitlins quilt. You should definately make a pattern for that and sell it. Just lovely! Your handquilting really tops it off too.

Pick me! Pick me! It sounds silly but my favourite thing about your blog is that gorgeous quilt in the header - THE COLOURS!! As for what I like to sew - anything impractical. Ask me to sew a tent for a Barbie? Sure! Ask me to mend your jeans? Not a chance - you will grow out of them before I get that far into the mending pile!
Hugs,
Kerry

My mom is also doing a giveaway on her blog at www.sewingwithtrudy.blogspot.com

This is a nice giveaway. I certainly could use those colors. I love your blog. I like Caitlin's quilt (did I spell her name right)? Where did you get that pattern. It's awesome. I love the other bright quilt for your daughter too. I like those batik floor cushions. I wish I had some right now, but I bet the dogs would steal them from us.

Take care. OH....I checked out your sewn button. It looks like it's going to be a neat site I'll have to join.

I love the photos on your blog. You've got such wonderful colours in your quilts. It makes me long to do something with batiks ...

I like the color background you have...it's easy on the eyes. I also like when bloggers have some of their favorite blogs listed; I sometimes jump over and check one out now and then. It helps to have a list of lables on the side bar so it makes it easy to find something we may have seen before and are looking for again...like tutorials, recipes etc.

Unknown said...

I love the quilts and the tutorials are so useful. Thanks for the giveaway

I live in the US, and don't know if you are accepting international entries...but here goes...
I love how much you use batiks! My eye is always drawn to batiks, but many people don't seem as interested in them as I am:-) Thanks for spotlighting such amazing fabrics. I enjoy making gifts for others--I "specialize" in gifts for new moms like nursing covers and diaper clutches. I am working on my first quilt, which will actually be a play-mat for a friend's baby (Lord willing!). Thanks for a great giveaway.
