Work in progress....

Working with these yummy colours today on my one of my current projects. I know, I just can't get away from the 'blue/green' combo but they looked good together on the "Pinterest" photo that inspired this paint effect :-) I picked them out yesterday down at my local Bunnings shop where I have to say the staff there are very helpful and friendly and don't make me feel like I have know idea what I'm talking about.
This stool is just one of my current 'work in progress' projects that I seem to be multi-tasking on at present. I have chairs that are awaiting fabric, chairs that are awaiting new foam for the seats and another 2 stools that are awaiting fabric to arrive. It doesn't go with my personality to have so many projects half done as I generally like to finish a project completely and move on but I'm learning to be flexible :-)

My painting assistant taking a break from playing with my brushes and trying to drink the water that is meant for cleaning the brushes....

Those are some of my favorite colors too so I understand their allure. Can't wait to see what your project will end up looking like. I have a dining set that I'm not in love with. But I don't really want to get rid of it since it was my husband's childhood set. I'm thinking that if I were to paint the four chairs different shades of aqua and blue and recover the seats with fun fabric that I'd love them. Thanks as always for the furniture inspiration. :-)

Those colours are just so spring like and refreshing. Your assistant looks rather like he is enjoying the warmer weather too.

Painting is obviously hard work for kitties! Who knew! Hahaha. He is still super cute. I always have several things in different stages. Sometimes its feels like a burden but other times it allows me flexibility as to what I feel like working on. I am thinking I am going to adore that painting project you have given us a glimpse of.
